Biomechanical Engineer (Shelton, CT OR Annapolis, MD OR, Cleveland, OH)

Have you ever wondered who determines the causes of product related injuries or product failures? Have you ever wanted to be a detective and take something apart and see how it works or if the design protected the consumer from hazards?

Our client is currently looking for a Biomechanical Engineer who is a problem solver and can perform investigations into accidents and product failures. Ideal candidates should have the following credentials:

· B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Biomechanical Engineering from an accredited University

· At least 10 years of experience (includes BS, MS, Research Projects, Internships and Co-Ops)

· Experience with product related injuries

· Professional Engineers (P.E) license a plus

· Masters or Ph.D. degrees a bonus


The ideal candidate must also be willing to occasionally travel on a day or overnight basis to investigate accidents involving consumer products, industrial accidents or vehicular accidents. This position is well suited for an individual who is motivated and a self starter who likes working independently and not at a desk and on occasion also enjoys working outdoors.
